WPC Vinyl Flooring

WPC stands for wood plastic composite. Like SPC it is a rigid-core, fully waterproof vinyl — but the core is foamed rather than dense, which changes how the floor feels rather than how it performs against water.

That difference is the reason to choose it. WPC planks are thicker and slightly softer underfoot, warmer to stand on, and noticeably quieter than a dense SPC floor. In a living room, bedroom or anywhere people are on their feet for a while, it is the more comfortable of the two waterproof options.

The trade-off is hardness. A foamed core dents more easily than stone-composite under concentrated weight — a heavy appliance leg or an unprotected chair caster will mark it sooner than SPC would. For high-traffic commercial spaces or rooms with heavy furniture, we usually steer people back to SPC.

Both are genuinely waterproof, so this is a comfort decision rather than a durability one. The best way to settle it is to stand on both, which takes about a minute in the showroom.
